Studio K SS 2011

Noah Shibley and I designed the runway show for Studio K for their Summer/Spring 2011 collection presented at Seoul Fashion Week.
We used Kyle Mcdonald’s open source structured light scanning software to capture the 3d movement of fashion models. We also brought one of the 3d models into a traditional animation software package and where we used the face of a fashion model as a landscape. At the end of the show the virtual camera zooms out to reveal what the form actually was. The content was tailored to coincide with the Studio K’s aesthetics of the season.
